Bond set in 1976 car bombing case in Greenbrier

Greenbrier County Circuit Judge Frank E. Jolliffe set three bonds for Carroll Eugene Humphries in the 1976 car bombing murder tied to Katherine Abshire and co-defendants. Highest bond totals 150000 with additional 25000 and 50000 bonds. Humphries must stay in Greenbrier County and have no contact with co-defendants through his attorney.

Kit Kat bar tested after Raleigh County man finds needle

Dennis Sizemore of GlenMorgan reported buying a Kit Kat on Oct 29 and finding a needle. Raleigh County Detective Sgt. Gordon Gregory said the bar was sent to the lab for tampering tests and warned Kit Kats have been removed from the local store. Hershey's has been notified.
