Mountaineers host Slovaks in opening exhibition
WVU coach Gale Catlett previews the first of two exhibitions against Istroenergo of Slovakia in the Coliseum at 7 p.m. The 21st year coach fields a rebuilding lineup led by Marcus Goree, Elton Scott, and Jarett Kearse with Brooks Berry and Chris Moss set to start. He evaluates potential subs and newcomers while aiming to gauge depth before the regular season. WVU is projected 11th in the Big East and reached the NCAA Sweet 16 last year.
