Confederates to be honored with granite wall dedication
In Warrenton Virginia a granite wall will restore 520 Confederate soldiers names to a mass grave site once burned by Union troops in 1868. The effort stems from research by Robert Smith of Illinois and the National Archives listing men who died after the Second Battle of Manassas in 1862.
