Alderson woman gets probation on drug plea
Alderson resident Debra F. King, 36, pleaded guilty to delivery of 2.2 grams of marijuana and received 18 months of probation from Circuit Judge Robert Irons. The case stemmed from a statewide undercover drug sting. King faced nine counts, but eight were dismissed in a plea bargain. King must comply with standard probation terms, avoid drugs, finish GED, hold a part time job, pay court costs, and avoid bars. Meanwhile, a separate report from Nashua, New Hampshire notes Earl C. Efaw, 62, of Bridgeport was hospitalized in critical condition after a Monday night Cessna 310 crash near an airfield.

Man Pleads Guilty To Sexual Abuse Of Minor In West Virginia
In Greenbrier Circuit Court Roger Ramsey, 49, of White Sulphur Springs, pleaded guilty to third degree sexual abuse of a minor, a misdemeanor, with maximum penalties of 90 days in jail and a $500 fine. The plea drops felony charges. sentencing set for June 22. Ramsey had sexual contact with a girl under 16 between December 1996 and January 1997, according to the April 24 information. Ramsey remains free on $5,000 bond. In related hearings, Eleanor Pemphrey and family members were informed their May 27 trial would not be moved amid charges of false swearing connected to a 1997 incident. Freddy Bostic faces child abuse counts for allegedly injuring his girlfriend’s 5-year-old son in 1997. Judge Jolliffe ruled no more continuances. Sara Bostic is set for trial May 19 and Jennifer Bostic on June 25. A fugitive arrest warrant was issued for Daniel J. McMillion II of Rainelle for Georgia probation violations. bond revoked.
