Train derails near Columbus knocks house off foundation
A Conrail coal train derailed in Baltimore Ohio knocking a house off its foundation and striking a parked car. No injuries were reported though residents nearby evacuated because of downed power lines. The 105 car train originated in Charleston West Virginia en route to Ashtabula Ohio.

Pilot walks away from crash at Tri-State Airport
Huntington authorities report a Beechcraft Bonanza belly landing on the main runway with no injuries. Plane gear likely failed and air traffic control was not alerted. One US Airways flight to Pittsburgh canceled, another rerouted to Yeager Airport. Comair flight delayed forty minutes. The aircraft was based in Huntington. FAA will investigate.
