VFW Post 4326 funds camcorder for Make-A-Wish grants
VFW Post 4326 of Sophia Midway donated a JVC VHS camcorder valued at over 700 dollars to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern West Virginia. Loree Elswick said the group has granted about 150 wishes in seven years and noted donations like this keep wish granting possible. Albert Ruble recalled starting as a volunteer and borrowing cameras to film wish events, and the device will help document everything from limousine pickups to completed wishes.
