Applications for school clothing aid open in Raleigh County
The Department of Health and Human Resources begins taking School Clothing Allowance applications for Raleigh County residents. Hours are 8 30 a m to 4 30 p m Monday through Friday at the local office 407 Neville St. Additional sites include Bradley Volunteer Fire Department Tuesday 10 a m to 2 p m Raleigh Boone Technology Center Pettus Thursday 10 a m to 2 p m Ghent Volunteer Fire Department Monday Aug 10 Independence High School Tuesday Aug 11 10 a m to 2 p m. Eligibility covers school age children born Sept 1 1979 to Aug 31 1993 enrolled in school and WV Works recipients in August. Applicants must supply proof of income assets and identity. Vouchers mailed to WV Works recipients mid program.
