Snowshoe installs towers to cut uphill time on Western Express
Snowshoe Mountain crews and Garaventa CTEC installed new towers for the Western Express lift, cutting uphill time from 22 minutes to six. The $36 million expansion adds Shay’s Revenge, a 1500 foot vertical black diamond, and aims to boost on slope time for skiers in the Western Territory. The season opening is tentatively set for Friday, Nov. 13.
