Emile Hodel, former Beckley Newspapers editor and Nancy Hodel’s husband, will greet visitors and discuss her life during a 2 to 4 p.m. event in the Beckley Newspapers lobby today. Nancy Hodel, a former women's editor and arts editor, turned to painting after retiring in 1977 and died in October 1997. Her artwork will be displayed in the lobby through September 30 with free admission.
