Search ends for missing McDowell County man Gibson
A twelve day search for John L. Gibson 48 of Sandy Huff ended with authorities still lacking leads. Gibson disappeared April 8 near Saeger after being seen at 6:20 am. Friends and family will continue to search while officials cite high river levels and failed searches by divers and bloodhounds. A black cap linked to him was found in Tug Fork River. Contact Set. S. Wreck injures 2 children and 3 adults on I-64
A single vehicle crash on Interstate 64 near Green Sulphur Springs injured two children ages 7 and 8 and three adults when Jamie Leise Rodriguez 29 of Alta Vista Virginia fell asleep at the wheel and lost control causing the van to flip. Rodriguez and all five injured were treated for minor injuries at Summers County Hospital and released.
