Racewalker mom aims for Olympic trials in coming years
Sherry Richmond of Daniels trains in racewalking, a sport she adopted after motherhood in 1995. She covers miles daily, explains the two technical rules, and pursues faster times toward national events and Olympic trials with mentor Gene Miller. She seeks sponsors to fund travel and gear for higher level competitions.
