West VirginiaTeen Center Faces Licensing Crackdown
West Virginia DHHR spokesman Foriash says officials learned of abuse allegations last week after Colorado alerted them. Colorado pulled 40 inmates from the youth center after a 13 year old died by suicide and 23 child abuse cases were found in 15 months. The center lacks adequate staff. NC plans demand visual checks, mirrors in sleeping rooms, new hiring approvals, and a death by action prevention plan.
