Bulked up tackle adds cohesiveness to WVU offensive line
WVU lineman Brock Holland has grown from 270 to about 305 pounds as the lone new starter on the Mountaineers offensive line. The 6 foot 5 senior from Bangor Pa. impressed at Lackawanna JC and backed up Sam Austin last season. Coaches expect him to start at right tackle with Eric de Groh at center. The unit has improved through experience and practice, with new plays and ways to counter defenses focusing on Amos Zereoue. Full pads were used Wednesday and the first scrimmage is Friday morning.
