Banking probes cite $800000 in loans to Lance family
Regulators disclosed that Bert Lance and his wife obtained about $800000 in personal loans by using interest free deposits from a Georgia bank he headed in 1974. The report adds to $6 million previously reported, while Carter aides say Lance will not resign.
