California weekend storms reduced fire danger but did little to ease the drought. Rain fell from Sacramento to San Diego with a small tornado in Long Beach causing property damage. A tornado damaged Crestwood Convalescent Home in Long Beach, injuring none but causing $150,000 in damage.

Careful Plan Aims Aid for Social Security Funds
