Rhine Express collides with commuter train in Schiedam
The Rhine Express and a commuter train collided head-on near Rotterdam, killing at least 23 people including schoolchildren and injuring 10. All victims were Dutch. The 10-coach Rhine Express was 15 minutes into its run from Hook of Holland to Munich when the crash occurred at 8 am.
