Liberty Pole Relocated Before City Hall In Redlands

A 112 foot Liberty Pole was moved from The Triangle to a new base in front of City Hall in Redlands. The two hour operation used an 85 foot crane with a rigging team guiding the pole into a steel sleeve in a concrete foundation. A termite issue was noted, risking future stability, with six feet of new base treated by a local pest control firm. The event drew wide public attention and included a historic stump analysis by University of Redlands professor Frederick Bromberger.
