Ugandan President Idi Amin relinquished his direct role in negotiations with pro Palestine guerrillas who are holding nearly 100 Jewish hostages. After four days of bargaining, he secured the release of about 150 non Jewish passengers from an Air France hijack over Greece and then left for Mauritius for the OAU summit.
