Hundreds of Glendora and Azusa residents faced mud and flood damage after a four day storm. Layers of mud and fast moving water from San Gabriel Canyon swept through residential areas, damaging more than 100 homes. The sheriff's office stepped up patrols to prevent looting.
Truth Daily reports Mao Zedong is seriously ill in undisclosed interior China city. Citing mainland sources, the paper says he collapsed during a tour late last year and has not recovered enough to return to Peking.
