SAN CLEMENTE California UP I reports that along with Richard Nixons tapes federal authorities have seized his personal mementos and even his wifes and daughters dresses. Rabbi Baruch Korff says these items have been kept from Nixon since his resignation last August and include Julie Eisenhowers wedding dress and gowns from the inauguration. A White House spokesman says the issue is being debated by Nixon and government lawyers and a Times report notes Congress language may justify withholding items acquired during his term.

Killy to Have Gallbladder Surgery Today
Skiing superstar Jean Claude Killy is to undergo gall bladder removal surgery in St. Paul Minnesota.
