Battleship New Jersey opens Vietnam action shelling DMZ sites

Two Injured in Auto Crash Near Red Bluff

Two-Car Crash Injures Five In Red Bluff
Five people were hurt in a South Main Street collision in Red Bluff. Mrs. Jean Myers 45 and her three children Deborah 9 Sheryl 7 Tina 2 were hospitalized after the crash with another car driven by the Rev. Martin Carl Hamlin of San Jose. Hamlin was at St. Elizabeth Hospital undergoing treatment.

Enterprise High cheerleaders die in highway crash
In Susanville six Enterprise High School and Mt. Lassen cheerleaders, all 17, were killed in a highway crash on the way to a game. Coach Robert Russell said the team carried on, winning 7-0, and memorial services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Enterprise High gym. Truck driver Roy Green, 47, survived with moderate injuries.
