Woman Injured In Freeway Mishap Near Red Bluff
An Oakland woman, Mertie Mae Petrich, 62, was listed in satisfactory condition with fractures after a two vehicle collision on Interstate 5 four miles south of Red Bluff. The other driver was Roy Vincent Brannock, 47, of Tualatin Oregon, whose pickup was involved in the crash as Petrich attempted to pass.

Corning officers arrested Charles Mayer 33 of Houston Texas on a felony warrant and auto theft charge while Edward Leon Duncan 20 of 617 Solano St was taken for a hit and run misdemeanor.
