Two Driver Error Accidents Reported By Highway Patrol
The California Highway Patrol reported two driver error accidents yesterday. At 5:05 p.m. on Highway 99E north of 63rd Ave a pickup driven by Freda Fay Davis collided with a passing truck trailer driven by Robert Sallee, no injuries. On Interstate 5 near the Thomas Creek Bridge a rig driven by Richard Joseph Bermudes overturned after an improper U turn, with Bermudes taken to Corning Memorial Hospital and a hole cut in the trailer roof to allow cattle to walk out.

Firefighters battle grass blaze along rail tracks
Six California Division of Forestry units and one Tehama County Rural Fire Department rig joined seven responding units yesterday to a blaze along Southern Pacific Railroad tracks near Hooker Town Road and Blue Tent Creek.
