Continuation School Site Problems Plague Red Bluff Board

Red Bluff High School trustees wrestled with two long standing issues at their meeting. The board reported the Bureau of Aeronautics had not approved the chosen site for the continuation school due to flight path concerns. They had negotiated to buy the Church of Latter Day Saints building for 86 000 dollars, but a state ruling blocks it as of now. The second issue involved interdistrict attendance and a request from Mill Creek residents for reimbursement or travel options to Chester High. The board declined changing the policy tonight but promised to explore a practical solution. The district attendance count for the first week was 1691 in class, up slightly from last year, with October expected to bring a peak near 1710.
