One Killed In Freeway Crash North Of Red Bluff
One man died and six were hurt when a Volkswagen rear struck a Rambler stopped near the northbound rest area on Interstate 5 about 8 am. The VW swerved from the right, hitting Vera Young 42 of Portland and injuring three in the VW. Young sisters in the Rambler were slightly hurt. Other accidents cited include a Tehama pedestrian injury and a Highway 36 trailer collision.
