Winds gusting to 65 mph toppled two airplanes at Red Bluff Airport and damaged cars from fallen branches. A tree struck a Swain Drive home while power outages affected countywide. In Corning, only minor damage and about seven hours of outages were reported. Fire crews cleaned debris as police and public works aided recovery.

Action Said Necessary Despite Hideous Costs
