Chinese Delegation Tours Red Bluff Water Facilities
A ten member delegation from the People's Republic of China visited the Red Bluff Diversion Dam and salmon spawning facilities for two hours as part of a seven week U S tour. They were hosted by the U S Interior Department and Red Bluff’s Bureau of Reclamation and Fish and Wildlife Service officials led by Dale Schoeneman. They viewed the salmon tagging and artificial spawning grounds and then traveled to Redding after stopping in Sacramento Folsom Auburn and San Francisco.

Coffman Suffered Injuries After Flores Avenue Crash
Patricia Jan Coffman 37 of Gerber sustained injuries when her car left a curve on Flores Avenue at 3 20 p m yesterday and plowed through a fence. She remained unconscious on arrival by ambulance to St Elizabeth Hospital and was listed in satisfactory condition this morning by the CHP.
