Cottonwood Man Arrested After Kidnap Attempt
A 22 year old Cottonwood man, Kim Wesley Warnock, was arrested in Red Bluff on suspicion of kidnapping Doris Moore of Cottonwood. Moore flagged over for a tire check, was offered a ride, and jumped from the moving car when she was told she was being kidnapped. A rifle and knife were reported during the incident. She escaped unharmed except for bruises. The suspect was located on I 5 near Wilcox Road by Officer Andy Engelbrecht.
