Elementary Teachers Get Pay Increases
The Red Bluff elementary board approved a 7 percent pay rise for teachers and classified staff after requests for 10 percent were narrowed by budget limits. Summer school pay increases to 6.50 per hour were approved. An evaluation of Bidwell School by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges will occur next fall with recommendations. The tentative budget is about 1,300,000, similar to last year, with formal adoption and public hearing planned in August.
