Progress report on coyote study in Tehama County

The Tehama County Board of Supervisors receives the first progress report from a supervisor appointed committee on the coyote food habit study begun last August to assess impacts on deer. Aircraft Rebuilding Topic for Tehama County Aviation Meet

Tehama County Aviation Association members will meet at Holcomb's Hanger on the Red Bluff airport to discuss safety in aircraft rebuilding and preventative maintenance. Static displays of aircraft in reconstruction will be shown. The meeting starts at 7:30 with nominations for officers and parade float planning.

Senate backs nuclear nonproliferation treaty

Airport Commission Rejects Lease Proposals

Red Bluff Airport Commission rejected two lease proposals for the Red Bluff Airport at a special meeting. Harold Bennett of North Valley Aviation and William Keeler of Red Bluff Air Service presented bids. Keeler currently holds the lease. Livestock Marketing Association Meets in Red Bluff

The California Livestock Marketing Association will hold a luncheon meeting at the Red Bluff Auction office on Nine Mile Hill where Nelson Brusa will demonstrate sorting of cattle. Manager Richard G. Jones will report to members with similar meetings planned in Dixon today and March 22 at Tagus Ranch Restaurant near Tulare.

DMZ Attacked Twice By North Vietnamese Forces

North Vietnamese troops attacked along the southern DMZ edge. In the Gio Linh area one outpost battle left 18 South Vietnamese soldiers dead and 55 wounded, with four enemy dead. A second fourteenth Marine patrol near Rockpile fought a day-long engagement, six Marines killed and 25 wounded. Enemy losses were not known.
