Fire In LA Motel Forces Guests To Jump
A fast moving blaze swept through 72 rooms of the Airport Ramada Inn in Los Angeles early today forcing guests to jump from second floor windows. One woman was killed and at least nine others injured, several with ankle injuries from escaping. The fire likely started in a ground floor storage area and may have spread after a door was left open. Fire officials were still investigating the cause as guests recalled leaping to safety.
