Washington reports the administration urged Congress to raise the debt limit by 20 billion to 485 billion. Treasury Secretary George P. Los Molinos Man Found Dead in Sacramento River
The body of Elmer Stigall, missing since May 22, was recovered from the Sacramento River two miles south of Los Molinos by a coroner skin diving team. His submerged car, with ignition on and in gear, was located about 2:30 p.m. by fishermen. evidence suggests the body had been in the water since his disappearance.
