Planned Pay Hike For Construction Workers Stalled
About 15 000 California construction laborers in 46 counties will not receive proposed wage and fringe benefit increases negotiated two years ago. The labor board in Washington failed to act on 25 cent hourly raises and 42 cent fringe increases under Phase Three controls.
