Mrs Louise Anna Peters 77 died after a lengthy illness in a Red Bluff convalescent hospital. She lived with daughter Thelma King in Corning for 2 1/2 years. Survived by daughter Aleyne Cox, sister Timma Nohr, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren. Funeral 10 a.m. Monday at Hall Brothers Chapel. Body flown to Breckenridge ND for burial.

Last Rites For Youth Killed In Corning Gun Accident
Ronnie Dale Hopper, 17, was honored at funeral services in Hall Brothers Chapel with Rev. J L Whitaker officiating. He died from an accidental gunshot earlier in the week. Pallbearers included Bill Rodriguez Duke Johnson Ron Judd Rob Snyder Orval Butts and Gary Footman. Burial followed at Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Two County Blazes Extinguished By Fire Fighting Units
Firefighters in Tehama County battled two fires yesterday. Four pumpers and two bulldozers from the California Division of Forestry controlled a five acre brush fire near Rancho Tehama.
