One Dead In Freeway Wreck Near Red Bluff
A head on collision on Interstate 5 just south of Red Bluff left Adele Gregory of Mercer Island dead on arrival. Laurie Sorenson and seven year old Dawn Sorenson, both of Seattle, were seriously injured. Kenneth and Lorraine Klass of Lafayette sustained stable to serious injuries. Investigators could not determine why the Klass car crossed the median. Rescue crews freed Dawn Sorenson after 19 to 15 minutes of entrapment as fire units washed down the scene.

Bomb Attacks Hit San Francisco Federal Offices
Two large bombs exploded on the 34th floor of the Tishman Building injuring a security guard and causing over 250000 dollars in damage. The Red Guerilla Family claimed responsibility in a telephone message to media. A janitor, Mario Lopez, moved the cigar box bombs from a restroom before detonation. Antelope Girl Injured In Pool Scuffle At Red Bluff Park
Firemen responded to McGlynn Pool yesterday afternoon after a young Antelope girl suffered injuries during a scuffle while in the pool. Stacey Gauthier was carried from the water on a backboard and transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital where she was examined and released. Lifeguards and the rescue unit had recently tested lifesaving methods during a surprise drowning drill at the pool.
