Barn Fire Destroys Hay Barn on Cobb Ranch Northeast of Vina
A wood frame barn on the Charles Cobb ranch along Reed Orchard Road burned early yesterday. The 60 by 40 foot structure housed 70 tons of hay and suffered about $3,300 in damage. Faulty wiring is listed as the probable cause. Cobb alerted Division of Forestry after noting smoldering flames overnight, seven miles from the main house.
