The City of Red Bluff received title to two land parcels within the city limits for conveying to the U S Government and to Southern Pacific Railroad Company. The parcels include a lakeside property at Willow to Douglas Streets and a stretch between Hickory and Pine Streets bounded by Monroe Street and an alley. The action was granted by Tehama County Superior Court with no opposition. City Attorney James G Ford cited an agreement with the railroad for curb and gutter work along Monroe Street in exchange for the land. The lakeside site will be developed as a recreation area.
