RB High Students Have A Snow Ball
Red Bluff High School marked Spirit Week with a four foot wall of white snow at the faculty parking lot. Principal Bob Hickman said it was in good clean fun after students hauled snow from the mountains and helped unload food trucks for the cafeteria. City crews cleared the lot and dumped the snow into the water course along O Conner Road. Spirit Week ends with a Red Bluff Anderson basketball game.

National Park Service reports 1975 visits to California’s 18 parks reached a record 14 million, up 19 percent from 1974. Yosemite led with 2,619,000 visitors, a 12 percent rise, while Cabrillo, Golden State, Canyon, Point Reyes and Whiskeytown surpassed 1,000,000. Lassen Volcanic logged 445,600 visits.
