Three Injured In South Main Street Collision
A Red Bluff woman Edith Wakefield 33 and two Los Molinos passengers Jack ie Smith 17 Roy Sellers 22 were injured when Wakefield drifted across a yellow double line on South Main Street into an oncoming car driven by Carolyn Ann Rhodes 22 of Red Bluff. Gates Lowered to Hold Lake Red Bluff Level
The U S Bureau of Reclamation authorized the Lake Red Bluff Commission to start gate lowering at Red Bluff Diversion Dam. The drop began at 3 p m and will hold the lake at 247 feet above sea level about 10.5 feet at the Oak Street bridge, with Keswick Dam releases cut to 26000 cfs. The level is kept for undetermined time to allow a fish trap contractor to finish work, with construction expected mid March.

Fire destroys shed housing farm equipment near Orland
