Tobacco report warns cigars pipes also raise cancer risk
The 500 page Surgeon General’s report finds cigarette smoking causes lung disease cancer bronchitis and emphysema and harms heart and pregnancy. It says pipe and cigar users have higher cancer risk than nonsmokers but less heart and lung disease, with oral and lip cancer more likely for pipe smokers.
