U S Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge urged mutual withdrawal of all foreign troops from South Vietnam and proposed immediate reestablishment of a DMZ between North and South Vietnam as a concrete first step toward peace. Man Arrested Here Wanted In Nevada For Rape Murder
Leon Harley Young also known as Leon Harley Andersen, 34, of Sacramento, was arrested in Red Bluff on Tuesday. Nevada authorities say he is wanted for rape and murder in Wells, Humboldt County, and a federal parole violation. He allegedly abducted a woman on Highway 97, then raped and stabbed her to death. extradition waiver to Nevada will be sought.

Funeral services for Anna Aubie Drane were conducted by Interim Pastor Rev. Walter G. Holbrook at Hoyte Cole Chapel of the Flowers. Drane died Tuesday morning four days after her 90th birthday.
