Unconscious Woman Found In Van In Rest Stop
An 18 year old woman Susan McDonald from Vernon Washington was found unconscious in a van at a rest stop north of Red Bluff and reported in critical condition at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. Her sister Sherry McDonald 25 was pronounced dead by the Tehama County Coroner's office. A hibachi was found in the van and authorities believe asphyxiation occurred. Three of the dogs were found dead and several other dogs in cages were still alive.
