Corning Jaycees hosted a Santa visit on a motorcycle giving 1,500 candy suckers. From 7 to 9 pm, four Bank of America phones connected kids to Santa, with seven Jaycees assisting. Toys requested included Wendy dolls, Baby Go Bye-byes, toy cars, and radios. Santa’s ride debuted this year as an annual Jaycee project. The Corning club, led by Ernie Hubbard, is a regional standout among 300 clubs nationwide to be named outstanding.
