Trustees Bailey and Hunerlach revealed 1920s newspapers and county history items, memories shared by old students, and plans for a memorial honoring Scott Pritchett with a bronze plaque and school bell display.

Drivers Block I-80 Exit 43 To Protest Speed Limit
About 100 tractor trailers blocked Interstate 80 at Exit 43 near Blakeslee Pennsylvania in both directions early today to protest the 55 mph speed limit and diesel costs. Twelve trucks blocked 184 along the Connecticut New York state line. The House approved a nationwide 55 mph limit by voice vote and sent the bill to the Senate. A Consumer Federation study group urged Nixon to plan immediate gasoline rationing.
