The Red Bluff city council approved a 2 352 761 budget for 1973 74 and set the tax rate at 2 11. The plan increases last year’s budget by 466 124 with allocations for general government public safety public works the library recreation airport and water. The council also amended zoning rules for annexed areas, approved trap shooting facilities on airport land, eyed state funds for runway extension, reappointed the Airport Commission and approved a police car purchase trade in, street light sale, road overlay contract, curb drainage work, and city delegation to a state conference.
