Weekend Quiet After Red Bluff Round-Up Ends

Law enforcement in Red Bluff and Tehama County called the two day Round Up an especially quiet weekend with arrests and calls below normal. Red Bluff Police logged only two public drunkenness arrests and a handful of minor disturbance investigations. Red Bluff Round-Up 1973 All Around Cowboy Leo Camarillo

Leo Camarillo of Donald Oregon won the all around title at Red Bluff Round-Up 1973 collecting 868.77 dollars for three events. He took first in calf roping and steer wrestling and was second in steer wrestling averages. The 51st annual event opened with Kiwanis pancake breakfast and a parade. Bart Brower won saddle bronc while Don Gay topped bull riding and Ace Berry won bareback. Rob Flournoy served as grand marshal and the team roping duo Ken Luman and Jim continued on page 8.

Six Persons Hurt In Three Weekend Automobile Mishaps

Six people sustained minor injuries in three weekend accidents reported by the California Highway Patrol. Lorna Clark of Juneau and her 2 year old son were treated after a collision with Eleanor Spencer of Red Bluff. The incidents also involved Ronald Ottman and his sons in a southbound pickup on I 5 near Flores Avenue, and truck driver Lynn Barnhart whose rig overturned near Liberal Avenue on I 5.
