Dr. Dale A. Miller of Orange County was chosen by the Shasta College Board to succeed retiring president Dr. Gilbert Collyer. Miller, previously dean of college affairs at Golden West College, will arrive in June and assume duties July 1. He holds multiple degrees from Stanford and California state schools. 82 applications were received, 12 interviewed, six examined by the committee, then two visited before Miller was unanimously selected.
