Ladies of the Modern Maccabees Hold Regular Meeting
Tie Ladies of the Modern Maccabees held a Monday night meeting with routine work and a social period. New degree given and attendance rising. A crowd of young folks enjoyed a Club Lake day chaperoned by Mrs. Joe Blewett and Mrs. Ed Wilson. A fine dinner was served by multiple hosts. Ethel Allen set a new girls’ swim record crossing the lake, about 225 to 250 yards.
