In France, Edmond Perryon, holder of the world altitude record for solo and two passenger flights, died when his aircraft capsized at BAC. Earlier in Chantilly, M Corbon perished when his monoplane crashed on Monday, adding to the day’s aviation tragedies.
San Diego reports yesterday’s aviation accident killed Lieutenants Eric L. Ellington and Hugh M. Kelly of the U S Army aviation corps. No reason for the crash has been established.
The tally of American Army aviation corps fatalities reaches fifteen, as earlier casualties are confirmed in the ongoing conflict report.
The body of Earl Beckham who died from injuries after a fall at Terrell will be brought to Denton Tuesday night. Funeral services are set for 10 oclock Wednesday morning at the old Dalton burying ground three miles southwest of Denton.

Ed Dearman, a negro, eluding officers since the October 15 wounding of George Wells at Kamy’s switch, was arrested by Chickasha Oklahoma police on a tip from Sheriff Orr. Wells died October 21 from razor wounds after a row with cotton pickers returning from Dallas. Willie May Walker, alleged accomplice, is jailed as the case unfolds.
Congregations attended three services today at the First Baptist Denton marking his farewell. Morning service drew large crowds as several answered the call to serve as ministers. An evening sermon on The Sin Against the Holy Ghost was anticipated with a large congregation expected.

Rebels defeated a Federal force twenty one miles from Victoria and captured several pieces of artillery and prisoners in a battle reported from Matamoras with Navy involvement noted at Brownsville.
Seven thousand General Electric employes walked out in Schenectady New York as unions demand the reinstatement of two members recently laid off. The Associated Press reports the action began today.
