The lead culvert at the Santa Fe crossing two and a half miles north of Ponder is being repaired after complaints about the impassable crossing. County officials urged Santa Fe to act, setting a November 15 deadline under Civil statutes. a temporary fix began Tuesday while awaiting permanent authorization.

At a special meeting of the local Royal Arch Masons B F Pasehall was chosen as representative to the Grand Chapter and to the Committee on Work.
